These are the common layouts for rhinestone applications

  • Scatter Method: This layout consists of a variety of sized stones. Can start as small as ss3 and go up to ss30 (or larger in some cases). Stones do not follow a pattern and are placed completely at random.

  • Honeycomb: This layout is made of up one size stone and the layout is staggered to best fill in the gaps. Scatter and honeycomb are the most popular layouts for rhinestone placement

  • Linear: Consists of one size stone. Stones are arranged in rows. This layout isn’t as popular as others. Often seen when using rhinestone sheets.

  • Circular: This layout is perfect for circular items like phone grips, cup lids, coasters, or other round blinged items.
